Day 63 - Commitment
Commitment is actively expressed and realized through our thoughts and actions. Commitment is about giving of ourselves, sometimes at high personal cost or risk, to a person or purpose that we find worthy of that gift.
Reflection
- Take some time to think about your commitment to nonviolence.
- Are you willing to commit to a nonviolent lifestyle?
- What are you willing to change about yourself?
- What are you willing to do more of?
Action
- Write down what it means to you to be committed to nonviolence and what you are willing to do as a demonstration of your commitment.
- Clarify and affirm your personal commitment by taking the first steps towards action today.
“Realize that the hardest step in achieving anything is making a true commitment.”
Tony Robbins
Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes... but no plans.
Peter Drucker
“What helps you persevere is your resilience and commitment.”
Roy T. Bennett
“Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”
Mario Andretti
“You need to make a commitment, and once you make it, then life will give you some answers.”
Les Brown
“Stay committed to your decisions, but stay flexible in your approach.”
Tony Robbins
