Kindness is love and care for others in action. Kindness has the power to transform someone’s moment, day or life. Kindness has the power to transform the world.

- Kindness can be expressed in many ways and in many places.
- Bringing beauty to a place or showing kindness to a stranger contributes to nonviolence.
Action
- Today, practice random acts of kindness.
- Do something kind for someone for no reason other than being kind.
- Bring something of beauty into a place where it is needed, try to do this in a way that no one knows it was you.
- Write about how it feels to be kind for no reason.
- Write any observations you have about people interacting with your kindness.
