Day 27 - Generosity
Today, claim your power to transform the world by giving, especially to those who you don’t feel deserve a gift. The more generous you become, the greater your capacity for nonviolence.
Reflection
- How can you contribute to your family, friends and community through your generosity?
- What is the most meaningful gift you’ve received, material or non-material?
Action
- Write about what it means to be generous.
- Find at least three ways to give generously of your time, talent and resources to others.
- Gift one of those things to someone today.
"Goodness is about character - integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage, and the like. More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people. "
Dennis Prager
“Be a warrior when it comes to delivering on your ambitions. And a saint when it comes to treating people with respect, modeling generosity, and showing up with outright love.”
Robin S. Sharma
"Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out."
Frank A. Clark
“The only things standing between you and the compassionate, wise, and creative person you want to be are matters of choice. Your choice. No one can occupy your generosity except you.”
Gary Zukav
"I feel we all have a stake in our community as much as we do in our own spirits, and seeking avenues of generosity is the direct path to peace among us."
Shari Arison
